Andrew Rapp is a Co-founder of Petrie Partners. Prior to forming the bank with Jon Hughes and Mike Bock in 2011, Andy was a Managing Director of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Energy and Power Group. Andrew joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as part of Merrill Lynch’s acquisition of Petrie Parkman & Co. in 2006.
Since beginning his career in 1999, Andy has completed numerous domestic and international upstream, midstream and downstream corporate and asset valuations, working on over 175 completed merger, divestiture, joint venture, restructuring and financing transactions totaling over $200 billion in consideration. Andy has advised on 30 corporate mergers involving publicly traded companies and has worked extensively with public and private energy companies and sovereign entities on significant asset transactions throughout the United States, Middle East, West Africa, South America, the Former Soviet Union, Australia and Asia.
Andy earned his B.A. in Economics, Policy Studies and Managerial Studies from Rice University.
